Actions Guide

1. Pet Habitat Key

Place this action on any standard LCD key. Your companion rests or wanders inside its habitat tile.

2. Roaming Infobar Pet

Place this action on the Stream Deck Neo Infobar. Your pet freely explores the wide 232 × 50 pixel ribbon, pausing, turning around, and resting at the edges.

Note: Neo's page navigation touch points remain reserved for hardware profile switching; use your Habitat Key or action settings for direct pet feeding and sleeping.

3. Pet Playground & Dial

Assign this action to any rotary dial on a Stream Deck + or supported encoder device:

Control Behavior
Push the dial Drops a tasty snack into the habitat for your companion to eat.
Rotate the dial (Pro) Rolls a colorful toy ball back and forth across the screen for your pet to chase!
Tap the touch display In Pro: tapping your pet makes it leap with joy; tapping empty space drops a ball. In Lite: tapping triggers a happy reaction.
Adjacent Dial Panorama: Place PixelPet on adjacent encoder dials and enable "Join adjacent PixelPet dials into one habitat" in each instance's settings. With matching companion and theme selections, your dials merge into one continuous panoramic roaming playground!

Troubleshooting & FAQs

My pet is not moving

Maple shows a locked message

Maple the Fox is an exclusive companion in PixelPet Pro. In PixelPet Lite, clicking Maple keeps your current companion active and displays an upgrade link. Purchasing Pro will install the full PixelPet Pro action set.

Custom pet import failed

The pet flashes or clips on screen

PixelPet automatically fits the 192 × 208 cell to your display aspect ratio. If custom artwork leaves excess transparent margins inside individual cells, the pet may appear smaller. Unused transparent frames at the end of animation cycles are automatically skipped.
